Maternal mental health and wellness is very near and dear to me and I am passionate about helping parents find their joy again. As a mother who gets how hard it is, it is my privilege to walk with you on your journey as you strive to cope with the unexpected challenges and emotions that occur while trying to conceive, during pregnancy and following childbirth.
I have worked for a Fortune 100 insurance company in leadership roles so I understand all to well the pressure all parents (new and seasoned) experience to optimize both areas of life -- work and family. I have worked with many families just like you to help find that optimal balance.
I provide both individual and group psychotherapy to adult individuals and couples. I also provide prenatal and postpartum workshops designed to help new and expectant parents prepare emotionally for the growth of their family.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW; 44SC05720200 issued by the New Jersey State Board of Social Work Examiners).
I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Purdue University & a Master’s degree in Social Work from the top ranked Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis.
I am a member of Postpartum Support International (PSI) and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
I am a Gottman Bringing Baby Home Educator (training received from the Gottman Institute).
Completed 12 hour Post Graduate Professional Training: The Art of Holding Perinatal Women in Distress presented by Karen Kleiman, LCSW (well known international maternal mental health expert, author and founder and owner of The Postpartum Stress Center.)
Completed 2 Day Components of Care: Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders presented by Postpartum Support International
Completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy with The Gottman Institute.
You and your situation are unique and the approach I will take in our work together will be equally unique. In our therapy sessions, we will work to address your current problems and improve positive thinking and behavior through utilizing several Evidence Based Practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Mindfulness.
Believing in the principle of empowerment, we will work together to identify the core of your issues, develop a strategy to improve your overall level of functioning, and tap into your inner strengths. Everyone is unique so I cater my treatment to meet your specific needs.
You can expect a collaborative, respectful and empowering therapeutic process. My role as a psychotherapist is to meet clients where they are with compassion and no judgment.
Trying to heal and grow alone can be challenging. I am here as a guide for your process by providing the tools, expertise and support necessary to move forward. I believe in the possibility of lasting positive change and have helped many clients shift past feelings of being in a rut to profoundly new and hopeful next stages of life.
